About GESI Office

Office Overview

The Gender Equality & Social Inclusion (GESI) Office, operating under the Provincial Social Services Office, drives the mainstreaming and implementation of equitable and inclusive policies across Madang Province. It formulates and updates GESI frameworks, champions the rights of women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups, and embeds inclusion principles into all provincial programs. Through strategic partnerships with local-level governments, community organizations, and development partners, the office advances evidence-based planning, advocacy, and capacity building to ensure everyone benefits from—and participates in—provincial development.

Social Inclusion & Protection

Our social inclusion services champion the rights of marginalized groups including persons with disabilities, youth, and other vulnerable populations.
