About Community Development Office

Office Overview

The Community Development Office, operating under the Provincial Social Services Office, drives community-led development across Madang Province. It partners with local-level governments, village committees, NGOs, and other stakeholders to identify priority needs, design and implement grassroots projects, and build local governance capacity. By facilitating participatory planning, resource mobilization, and stakeholder coordination, the office empowers communities to enhance livelihoods, resilience, and social cohesion.
